Projects and experience

KIN | Family connection product concept · 2026.09.15–2026.09.20

Product and business concept · Interactive prototype

  • Starting from the fear behind an unanswered call to a parent, I defined KIN Watch and Family App to turn location, activity, and heart-rate signals into an understandable picture of what a parent is doing now and how their day is going. The goal is to check in out of care and participation, not only when an alert fires.
  • Using about 285 million people as an analytical market baseline, a 10% daily-use scenario would imply about 28.5 million DAU. I reasoned that AI may absorb routine app traffic while caring for family still calls for people's own attention, and proposed a family-attention entry point, RMB 999 hardware, and free full-featured software.
  • I owned the product definition, brand mission, and business tradeoffs, assigned research, modeling, visual, and coding tasks to ChatGPT, and reviewed the results. Deliverables included an interactive Watch/App prototype, a roughly 50-second brand film, and a full business proposal.

SPPS | Automated flow solid-phase peptide synthesis platform · 2024.03–2024.08

Research instrument · Working machine and handoff

  • I designed the overall system and selected components, specifying component requirements and how the machine should operate. I briefed four cross-disciplinary collaborators on mechanical, fabrication, electrical-control, and purchasing work, then reviewed, accepted, and integrated their deliverables. I wrote high-level synthesis-sequence scripts; collaborators implemented the low-level drivers.
  • I worked with nearly 20 suppliers on domestic alternatives for pumps, tubing, valves, and consumables. A near-equivalent FEP tube cost about 88% less as an individual item. Core integration took under three months; the machine demonstrated automated synthesis of a roughly ten-residue peptide, and a single coupling operation fell from about 30 minutes to about one minute before handoff.

QQ Lingxi | AI product prototype · 2026.05 · About ten days in total

Product prototype · Second round, Tencent PCG Campus AI Product Ideas Competition

  • I defined a lasting personality profile and a current-needs profile, using QQ-MBTI and a needs interview to match people, groups, and content. Before a connection, agents for both sides clarify fit, boundaries, and communication, then offer reasons, cautions, and an opening suggestion.
  • Combining external AI's understanding of users with QQ's real relationship network, I proposed an intelligent connection layer. I owned product definition, architecture, interaction, and acceptance; ChatGPT handled engineering. Across about ten days, I delivered an interactive prototype that advanced to the second round of the Tencent PCG Campus AI Product Ideas Competition.

PET | Research practice · 2025.08–2026.07

Research practice · First-author manuscript draft

  • With the major equipment already in place, I took an organic-synthesis lab from ‘0.5’ to ‘1’ by filling gaps in consumables and procedures. I learned much of the unfamiliar material with AI, then used the literature and experiments to judge feasible approaches.
  • For work involving gallium-68's roughly 68-minute half-life and a useful window of about four hours, I tested key conditions in low-cost, small-scale steps before full experiments. I completed a first-author manuscript draft intended for submission to JMC; related results were expected to lead to two patent applications.
